Our Services

  • Evaluations are completed to determine if speech therapy is recommended, determine strengths and weaknesses with speech and language skills and to identify goals.

  • Audrey will determine the appropriate treatment approach to help your child make progress with their articulation or phonological speech sound disorder.

  • A language delay can impact understanding and expression. Audrey prioritizes total communication including gestures, spoken words, and AAC. She is also trained in the Natural Language Acquisition to support gestalt language processors who utilize delayed echolalia for communication.

  • New challenges after a brain injury may include the areas of attention, memory, problem solving, self-regulation, and other executive functioning skills

  • Aphasia is an acquired language disorder that can happen as the result of a brain injury. Aphasia affects reading, writing, understanding, and expressive language.

  • Caregiver coaching is a customized 1:1 session that can occur in person or virtually. These meetings can help you learn and utilize tools that will support your loved one’s communication goals.

Meet audrey

Audrey De Soto M.S. CCC-SLP is an ASHA certified Speech Language Pathologist with nearly a decade of experience. She is licensed in the state of Washington and California. Audrey has worked in various settings including elementary school, high school, and outpatient settings serving children and young adults. She has a wide variety of experience with working with medically complex children, Autistic children, and those with acquired brain injuries. Audrey utilizes a strength based approach and provides neurodiversity affirming care.

Audrey graduated from California State University, Sacramento, with a Master’s in Speech Language Pathology. She moved to Washington in 2020 and has finally adjusted to PNW weather. Audrey enjoys listening to audiobooks, hanging out by the lake, completing puzzles, going on walks with friends, FaceTiming with her toddler niece and nephew, and traveling to see her family.
